Barrington Area Council of Governments
BACOG is a voluntary organization of elected officials representing seven municipalities and two townships in the Barrington area. The mission of BACOG is to foster cooperation and strategies to address regional challenges and to support the comprehensive plan. The organization defends regional land use patterns, identifies and lobbies for local needs, studies problems of interest to the member governments, and develops plans for action.
